Computer Lab Spotlight September - October

We would like to spotlight the following classes for computer lab indicators (tidiness, behavior, and NETS) and special recognition as listed below:
 
K
Baker -requested EAST helpers in advance; class waited patiently during transition
Durham – read books at stations until teacher assisted if needed; conscience of lab appearance upon leaving each time; teacher instructed students on how to close all programs with red X; highly engaged in computer activity which they preview prior to coming to the lab;
Mitchell-model behavior each time; engaged but still maintained quiet environment; students encouraged to locate website by themselves first (students were familiar with website from previous visits)

 
1st
Fleming -returned headsets, chairs pushed up, etc.
Howard - returned headsets, chairs pushed up, etc.
Layton –returned headsets, chairs pushed up, etc.; waiting patiently during class transition
Thacker -returned headsets, chairs pushed up, etc.

2nd
McCollough – Shutting down computers at the end of the day; consistently engaged with quiet environment
Williamson – 1stto AR Test; observed model procedures for getting on computers; consistently engaged with quiet environment

3rd
Cagle-returned headsets, chairs pushed up, etc.
Epperson- returned headsets, chairs pushed up, etc.
Fields –planning 3rd Grade and EAST Collaboration (Community: Amazing Facts About Your City: Little Rock)
Hurtado–planning 3rd Grade and EAST Collaboration (Community:  Amazing Facts About Your City)

4th
Fletcher-Observed NETS: Engaged in Professional Growth and Leadership (with Edline)
Allen-Planning 4th Grade Collaboration (Amazing Facts About the States )
Spradlin- Planning 4th Grade Collaboration (Amazing Facts About the States)

5th
Harris –Steered 5th Grade Native Americans Brochure and EAST Collaboration
Thomas –Required students to write and answer questions related to Native Americans to use as brochure content; 1st to reply with two student names as lab assistants/attendants
Rutherford–Worked to reschedule students missing EAST for another pull out
 
Please Remember To:
(1) Use class/school rules and procedures in that lab as they apply.
(2) Use low and calm voices and only necessary movements.
(3) . . . close all programs, put back headphones, push up chairs, and take all belongings/throw away trash (The last class should shut down all computers).
