Morning Opening:  Poem Reading

100 Days Poem read by broadcast team and/or Jaylah Hill (100 Days Team Leader)

 

100 Days of School Hat Showcase (K-2nd Grade)

Make your own hat representing 100 Days of School, wear Feb. 4, and be recognized/photographed by EAST at lunch/recess or TBA

 

100 days of School Door Decorating Showcase

Decorate doors creatively Feb. 1 – Feb. 5 in honor of 100 Days of School

 

100 Days of School Dress Up Showcase (3rd-5th Grade)

Dress up as if you lived 100 years ago and be recognized/photographed by EAST at lunch/recess or TBA

 

100 Days of School Stations

Students/Classes Can Visit the Multi-Purpose Room

During Lunch Recess and/or TBA for:

*100 Multiplication Problems (Individual)*

*100 Addition Problems (Individual)*

*Color groups of 10 to 100 (Individual)*

*Write 100 Words (Individual)*

*Stack 100 Cups (Teams of 3-4)*

 

100 Days of School Classroom Showcase

Teachers go to eastatking.blogspot.com, locate the 100 Days of School Post, and share your classroom and school-wide activities as a comment (Example:  Mrs. Smith’s 4th Grade Class will . . .).  Get ideas at http://eastatking.blogspot.com/2013/01/100-days-of-school-ideas.html.

  1. Mrs. Glasco's Pre K counted out 100 inch connecting cubes. Question - How many cubes can each of you get out of 100 cubes (20 students). They each took turns getting a cube until all were gone. They got 5 as an answer to the question. We also connected the 100 cubes to see what 100 inches would look like.

    For our door, I cut out tiny hearts they counted out 5 and glued on a card (20 cards = 100 hearts).
